Laurie A. Brown holds a Master's Degree in Education Counseling from the University of San Diego, CA. She has been a career and employment counselor for over fifteen years with the California Community Colleges where she directed career services programs and taught career development courses. Her background also includes working in high school and university level career education, as well as seven years in Human Resources. Laurie has counseled high school students and adults in career and life transition, persons with disability, ex-offenders and military. She also provides professional development training for organizations to help maximize employee performance.

Laurie specializes in career assessment testing and holds credentials as a Master Practitioner of the Myer's Briggs Type Indicator personality assessment (MBTI), and is a Qualified Professional of the Strong Interest Inventory (SII). She has administered career testing for youth and adults. Laurie is a member of the National Resume Writer's Association, National Career Development Association, San Diego Society of Human Resources Managers, San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce, and is an Accredited Member of the Better Business Bureau.
